The process-focus is to have the students discover, and engage in a world of words that they never knew existed around them, and inside of them.

The goal-focus is to guide them towards at least one, to perhaps, several pieces of completed Poetry, and possibly, have some students wishing to share their work with the rest of their peers.

The ongoing focus is to leave a lasting impression that words are indeed powerful; powerful enough to change the world around them, at all times, in all ways.
