Message: Hi Mr. Brewster,

I just want to say thank you again for reading an excerpt of your beautiful poem at my school on October 23rd at St. Gabriel the Archangel.

You touched the hearts of many of us, whether we were performing, spectators or parents, and your words evoked a sense of cognizance in my world. 

Your energy on stage was enjoyable, and the modernist spirit of your voice made me believe in you.

I want to also personally thank you for taking the time to talk to me that day. 

I am not the most popular person in school, but you coming up to me made me feel like a real person. 

I’ve always wanted to write poetry ever since I was a child. 

Your erudite work has inspired me, and I hope to see you again in my ELA classroom one day.
