Never have I felt more allowed to share my words than under the protective gaze of Wakefield Brewster. 

He welcomed me with open arms at a time when my words did not fit anywhere. 

Over the years (almost a decade now!) and although I have since left Canada, Wakefield showed me how to stand on the ground of what we believed in. 

Every stage he occupies, a shoebox to climb on to preach to the world how to express itself.
